Skit slipped her slim body threw the over sized side doors of the library. As she went farther into the quiet building Skit took a small breath in, and cought a whife of dust and choak. It smelled so familiar and looked exactly as it usually did, but something had Skit slinking around unwilling to be seen in the halls on this day.
As she grabbed a book of the shelves to make it look like she wasnt so suspises she had sat down indian stlye on the floor, the book set out infront of her. Thought it had looked like she just grabbed one rnadom book, the book was actually usful to her. It was a spell book. Anyone in the school could read it but only real witchs could perfome the tricks in the book, and thats what Skit was looking to do. Pressing her tongue to the tip of her thumb she flipped threw the pages taking up any new information she hadnt already read about to keep the uneasy feeling far from her stomach. Skit had stopped flipping threw the book when she came to a page on how to control fire. Crawling on her hands and knees to the edge of the book shelf, Skit peered out to make sure no one would be watching. No one that would rat on her anyways, as she crawled back to her book the feeling of dispear was sinking in fast. Something bad was going to happen. She could feel it.
As she read the page, Her eyes often shifted to keep a look out on the other quiet students that wondered around the over sized room.
Opening her palm out infornt of her facing up, Skit's mouth moved quickly and quietly repeating a small chant, mostly inside her head, and as a blue flame flashed infront of her, Skit let out a small gasp at how beautiful it looked sitting of peaceful and glowing in the center of her hand. Skit had let her mind wander from the flame and as soon as she did it sparked into a small cloud of smoke infront of her. She had not taken her eyes of the bright blue flame but as soon as it disappeared a small amount of disapointment surged threw her. But shaking her head back and forth quickly Skit smiled to herself proud that she had, had the blue fire under such control. Still sitting in the middle of the book shelf Skit kept reading as the other students came and left.
